Why do I do what I do?

This is a question I ask myself now and then. I have to remind myself why I create content for people to watch, and why I put myself out there for the world to see me. People can judge you for doing what you love and how the content looks. I know my work isn’t something that people drop everything to watch. That isn’t what I am trying to do. I am trying to make content that people can watch and feel entertained by. Even if this content doesn’t get views right away it will in the long run.

Let’s break this down a bit further.

First off I am going to try and explain why my content is the way it is. My content is all about being viewed when you are stuck on a game. This includes all of my longer streams/videos. I want to have videos that can show how to get through areas. The videos have a couple of different styles of videos.

  1. The Let’s Play shorter videos. These are one shot recording of certain things in games. For example are these videos.

  2. The longer Let’s Play videos are all about showing an area of gameplay that might have you stuck. These are all about a single mission or series of missions that are a section of story.

  3. Livestream Archives are what they sound like just me porting over my streams so you can view the entire stream.

  4. Edited videos are for more structured videos. These are more difficult to do in single shot videos. These can be reviews or a kind of vlog about a topic I like.

Enjoy the videos and music you love, upload original content, and share it all with friends, family, and the world on YouTube.

So this is my review for Subdivision Infinity DX. I am playing it on PC. I also am winging it a bit in this one compared to the Marvel Review. There is also ...

This is the playlist of the full streams that ended. I have one with each part separated into Between the Dungeons and the Dungeons. Let me know what version...

This tells you what kind of videos I post but this doesn't answer why I created it lol.

I started making videos because I wanted to start my own Gaming News channel. This was during college and I had a digital magazine started for it. This ended up not getting any traction and I changed over to the Guide Plays, this is the term I use to describe the channels videos, these are just Let’s Plays that are also guides to help the viewers. The videos I started with were Spore cause I was able to record within the program. Once I got to my last year of college I got my hands on Fraps and started recording non stop.  The first game I actually recorded was Dynasty Warriors Gundam 3 on Xbox 360

I have a lot of fun recording these Guide Plays and answering questions people asked me. I tend to do a quick google search if I don’t know the answer and check forums and then answer the question. This is why I kept doing this all the time, and still now I enjoy answering questions for people. It's one of the things when I question myself that keeps me going and reminds me not to stop. My goal for answering a comment, if it is about a problem with the game in the video, is a couple of seconds to 30 minutes. I have to show I am there to help as much as possible. This is how I get my views in my mind.

How does this help my analytics? Well truly it helps get me reactions but it also shows engagement if I can answer before the viewer looks up the answer.I also try to make sure the question I think will be asked is in the tags or title. This will help with the SEO and getting my video found. Then I make sure my thumbnail is clear about what my video is all about. All of that is what makes me want to do it. I enjoy each step of the process, even the script writing which I don’t talk about here. I also enjoy the community aspect of this more than anything else. Video production is fun but I enjoy hearing how I help people and make their day.

In all I do this because I enjoy each aspect of being a content creator. It brings joy to me and the people who view my creations. I am trying to also grow and change the channel in multiple ways. This website is one of the ways. I am trying to get interviews as well as reviews up on the channel. If I am lucky I will also be posting preview videos if I am lucky, I am trying to get access for this as well. If there is anything you want to see just ask and I will do my best to try and get it done. This all is dependent on if I have enough time to work on the videos, which is why I have a Patreon to help with this.

I hope you have a wonderful time reading this and I most likely rambled a lot but I hope my rambling has answered some questions or even made more that you know you can ask me
