Evercade and my time with it!

So to start I will show off what I all have and type a short sentence about each thing, then I will dive into the games I played the most and how I like them or don’t like them.

First thing you will get to see is a small group of pictures of the system itself, and they will also have 2 pictures of a cart and a game running. They are not the best picture to show the quality, but it is better than nothing until I get a micro HDMI to HDMI wire so I can get footage to showcase. After that I will be posting pictures of each set of carts.

Each game has a manual that has each games controls within it. They are colorful and a real treat that I miss compared to newer games.

This is everything that I currently have. Each collection has a different number of games but each collection has some of the best games, and a couple that are not so good. I bought this from Funstock. This is a UK company and takes a bit to get here, but I liked what I got.

Now how does it handle, I bet its what you are all wondering. Well it plays really really well. I have a little trouble in Earthworm Jim but after playing for a bit, I got used to it. The thing I couldn’t do as well as I can on the Genesis or 360 HD Remake was the helicopter spin. Besides that every game I played on here handles right. One other problem I had is some games don’t tell you what to do or how to play. This is all cause they are from an older time where you had to figure it out yourself and deal with it. So normally those kind of games are harder to learn than most, and they are in the Atari Collections since some of them are the old console games.

I love the way the buttons feel, they click with every push and its very very nice sound to hear. The sound on the system is nice and there is a headphone jack as well. The screen is bright and doesn’t loose quality of the graphics, I know my pictures doesn’t do it justice but a video will be coming as soon as I get a wire to connect it to the TV. There are save states which I have not used yet, but are there. There is an easy to access menu option where you can remap your buttons and return the the cart’s menu to pick another game.

In all I really enjoy this system and carts that I have for it more are coming out and some even came out right after I bought this. Is this something for everyone to buy? Right now no its not, that is mainly cause its only for the hardcore fans of the games and having them playable while on the go.

Some collections that I would one day hope for with Licensing figured out are TMNT, Konami Arcade games, X-Men games, a chance at Super Robot Wars games to be exclusively translated and released on here, older ones, and finally some Sega stuff.

I hope you enjoyed this and if you want to know more make sure to follow the links at the bottom to ask me on Social Media and to share this around as well, thanks for taking time to read my crazy mind typing and maybe not making sense.
